LoveBud connects customers, local businesses, and brands through one growing ecosystem. Rooted in Arizona, we’re building around a simple idea: better connections create better experiences.
For James Watkins, LoveBud’s vision goes beyond a single app. It is about connecting the entire business of cannabis—from the way a customer discovers a product to the way a dispensary manages inventory, delivery, customer relationships, and compliance records.
The all-in-one ecosystem brings those workflows into one connected platform. The goal is to give businesses more time to serve their customers, stronger visibility into their operations, and a simpler foundation for growth.
James’s three-year goal, through October 2029, is to capture 29% of the cannabis software market by earning a place in businesses’ everyday operations.
An ambitious target—not current market share or a guaranteed outcome.

The route toward James’s 29% goal starts with a platform businesses can make part of their daily work.
The nationwide pilot is designed for the first 3,500 participating businesses. A $1,000 monthly pilot price and lifetime price guarantee give them a predictable way to plan for the ecosystem.
Connect POS, retail and wholesale menus, inventory, delivery, CRM, analytics, wallet, and compliance workflows. Roll out the ecosystem in phases, with the full release planned for January 1, 2027.
Bring dispensaries, brands, wholesalers, cultivators, and kiosk hosts into the LoveBud network. Expand through business partnerships and an experience customers and operators want to keep using.
James’s ambition is to make LoveBud a lasting part of the industry’s future—one connected business and one customer relationship at a time.

The Insight Partners estimates the global cannabis industry software market at $1.52 billion in 2025, growing 14.96% annually. Applying that growth rate through 2029 gives an illustrative market of $2.65 billion. A 29% revenue share would mean approximately $770 million in annual software revenue.
At an assumed $1,000 per customer per month, that translates to about 64,200 active paying subscriptions. The initial 3,500-customer pilot is a foundation, not the full market-share target. Reaching a global share would require broader market coverage and enough eligible customers beyond the pilot.
Market estimate: The Insight Partners, April 2026| Milestone | Active subscriptions | Monthly recurring revenue | Annual run rate |
|---|---|---|---|
| Year 1 · Oct. 2027 | 3,500 | $3.5M | $42M |
| Year 2 · Oct. 2028 | 15,000 | $15M | $180M |
| Year 3 · Oct. 2029 | 64,200 | $64.2M | $770.4M |
Planning scenarios, not booked customers or a revenue forecast. Annual run rate is monthly recurring revenue × 12, not revenue earned during the year. The $1,000 assumption extends pilot pricing for illustration. Figures exclude churn, discounts, taxes, operating costs, transaction fees and other revenue; recurring revenue is not profit. This benchmark is global and covers POS and seed-to-sale software, not a validated LoveBud serviceable market.
Use the pilot to measure onboarding time, customer retention, reliability and the cost to acquire a customer. One connected workflow can reduce tool switching and give businesses a reason to keep using LoveBud.
Combine local sales representatives with brand referrals and multi-location partners. Going from 3,500 to 15,000 active subscriptions needs about 959 net additions per month in year two; year three needs about 4,100 per month.
At an illustrative 10 net new subscriptions per productive rep per month, those stages require about 96 and 410 productive reps respectively, or equivalent partner sales. Hiring, integrations, support capacity and capital must scale with demand.
The plan has a clear commercial logic: recurring subscription revenue, a connected product and sales channels that can expand. The 29% ambition becomes achievable only if LoveBud proves retention, secures a sufficiently large eligible market and builds the delivery capacity to sustain these acquisition rates.
Help build the next chapterThe vision takes shape in conversations with customers, demonstrations with partners, and the people who show up for LoveBud.
